Student Records and Documents

Accessing Student Information:

  1. Navigate to the student's profile via the student ID on the left panel under the 'DBID'.
  2. The main screen displays the student's basic details, course information, and class enrollment.

Editing Student ID and Photos:

  1. To edit the Student ID, click the pencil icon next to the Student ID field.
  2. To add or update the student's photo, click on the camera icon to upload a new image or take a picture using a connected camera.
  3. Use the cropping tool to adjust the photo if necessary. This photo will be used for the student ID card.

Updating Personal Details:

1. Directly edit fields such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Contact Details, and more.

2. Check the 'Allow portal login' option to enable student access to the portal.

3. Use the tabs at the bottom to add or edit information about the student's mother, father, guardian, or doctor. This includes contact details and addresses.

Saving Changes:

Once all edits are complete, ensure to click 'Save student info' to update the record. Managing Student Documents Accessing Documents:

  1. In the student's profile, navigate to the 'Student's documents' section.
  2. Here you can view all uploaded documents categorised under Certificates, Identity Documents, Letters and Correspondence, and Other Documents.

Uploading a New Document:

  1. Click on 'Upload document' to add new files.
  2. In the popup window, select the type of document you are uploading (e.g., Certificate, Identity Document).
  3. Enter the title of the document and choose the file from your computer.
  4. Click 'Save' to upload the document to the student's record.

Managing Existing Documents:

  1. To edit or download an existing document, use the 'Edit' or 'View/Download' options next to each document.
  2. You can update the document's details or replace the file if necessary.

Ensure all documents are uploaded in the required format and resolution as specified by eduSYMS guidelines for clarity and consistency across records.
