Student ID
Accessing Student ID Cards
- Navigating to Student ID: From the main dashboard of the eduSYMS interface, locate the 'Student Records Menu' on the top right corner. From the dropdown menu, select 'ID-Card'. This will direct you to the Student ID page.
- Viewing Student ID Details: On the Student ID page, you will see the student's name, DBID, student ID, course, and class information prominently displayed at the top of the page. This ensures easy verification and access to the student’s academic details.
- ID Card Features: The ID page is split into two main sections representing the front and back of the student's ID card.
- Front of the ID: This section displays the student's photo, name, student number, course, and other vital information. A barcode may also be included for easy scanning and verification processes.
- Back of the ID: Here, you will find the eduSYMS logo, a QR code for quick scanning which links to the student’s records, and the institution's contact information. This may include the school's address, email, and a link to the eduSYMS cloud service.
- Updating Student Photo: If you need to update the student's photo, you can click on the camera icon near the student's image. This will allow you to capture or upload a new photo.
- Downloading and Printing: For physical use, the ID card can be downloaded or printed directly from the page. Select either the 'Download' or 'Print' option located beneath the ID card preview.
- Mirror/Flip Images: If required, you can check the 'Mirror/Flip Images' box to adjust the orientation of the images on the ID card before printing or saving.
