Emailing Parents with eduSYMS
Keeping parents in the loop is just as important as engaging with students. eduSYMS provides a straightforward approach to email communication with parents:
- Access the Student's Profile: Your starting point is the student’s profile to ensure you're communicating about the correct individual.
- Select the Communication Function:
- Navigate to 'Student Records Menu'.
- Choose 'Email Parents' from the dropdown.
- Crafting Your Message:
- Recipients: The parent’s email will appear by default, or you can enter additional email addresses.
- Subject Line: Write a subject that accurately reflects the content of your email.
- Compose Email: Use the text editor for formatting and input your message. Clear, concise communication is paramount.
- Attachments: Include any relevant documents by clicking on 'Attach File'.
- Review and Send:
- A preview is essential to avoid errors. Use the 'Preview and Send' button for a final check.
- Once reviewed, send the email to keep parents updated on their child's educational journey.
